- Following the peer review process, the list of approved abstracts will be released before June 1st, 2009 (www.wsava2009.com.br). The presenting/ corresponding author will be officially notified by e-mail of approval or rejection of their abstract. The list of approved abstracts will be shown on the Congress website. At the time of notification, you will be asked to select the preferred method of presentation (oral or poster). The scientific committee reserves the right to select an alternative presentation option. If you do not agree with any proposed change of abstract presentation method, you will have the option to decline the presentation of your abstract.
- Guidelines for Oral presentations in English: Abstracts consist of a 12-minute oral presentation (plus 3 minutes for discussion); the schedule of presentation will be announced in advance of the Congress and the presenting author must be available to present the abstract on any date during the 2009 WSAVA Congress; changes cannot be made to the timetable to accommodate individuals.

Please, make sure to follow the schedule as presented below. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the abstract consists of a 12-minute oral presentation (plus 3 minutes for discussion).
- POSTER PRESENTATION – All Posters
It is an honor to announce that the research abstract listed below has been approved for POSTER PRESENTATION at 34th World Congress - WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association) in São Paulo - SP at Transamerica Hotel.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the guidelines for Poster presentation as presented previously (at the website) are: dimension of 0.90 meters (width) and 1.30 meters (height) will be available for the poster presentation for viewing during the entire meeting (the registration number of the abstract will be identified). The poster must contain title, authors, affiliations, short abstract, introduction, objectives, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusions and references. The figures, tables, etc. must be presented in a suitable size, and poster must be written in English.
Poster display must occur July 22st, 2009 between 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. at the Exhibition Center; all necessary display material will be provided. Posters will remain on display from July 22nd through July 24th.
The presenting author must attend the poster for answering the questions of the audience and the scientific committee according to the schedule below:

Authors are responsible for removing posters by July 24th between 2.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. Poster presentation certificates will be available on July 24th, 2009 at the Registering Desk of the congress. Except the certificates of the Ophthalmology Meeting - ISVO/CLOVE/CBOV, available on July 22th, 2009.
Certificate: Only the presenting author, that was present during the specific period defined, will receive one certificate that will contain the names of all the co-authors and the title of the abstract.
